John-Paul Ghobrial

The project research team is led by the Principal Investigator, John-Paul Ghobrial.

Professor John-Paul Ghobrial is Professor of Modern and Global History, University of Oxford and Lucas Fellow and Tutor in History, Balliol College.

He has led a number of successful research projects of which this is the latest, funded by the ERC under their Horizon 2020 programme.

As a five-year undertaking, it offers a great opportunity for a broad team to research this complex and fascinating area of beliefs and belonging through the global diaspora.
